In a nut shell, J Burns converted his garage into a studio and tried to connect all his crew together so we could make an attempt at becoming something in music. Unfortunately, everyone had their own plan and it didn't pan out in the form of worldwide success, 6 figure contracts or thousands of fans in packed venues as they toured the globe. It's almost poetic as we all have a similar dream and very few of us ever live to see those dreams come to fruition. The Nobudeez was the name we came up with since in reality who are any of us? The game is so watered down and saturated that it's near impossible to become anything if the unit isn't water tight and the support expands outward. This crew is some of the dopest beat makers, lyricists and creative minds I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, you can't force people to be a part of a movement if they don't want to be. I opened my home, studio and time to offer support and encouragement to everyone who entered "Da Spot" while it was in operation. I truly wish all those artists the best and pray they find the success they dream of. PS: To all aspiring artists out there remember one key thing: If the crew isn't 100 percent down with you, you're better off going solo. You can't help anybody until you help yourself first. Hip Hop is a culture of love, support and unity. We can't be unified if we consider other artists the competition. We have to support one another to break free of the bullshit system created by the elitists of the world. Free enterprise literally means we all need to go into business for ourselves and we can't become profitable without supporting one another. We don't need Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart needs us. We are the money that generates an economy. We don't need Wall Street to tell us what our self worth is. Keep Hustling.
